The Purpose Statement

The purpose of The Boys' Brigade in Australia is to provide, in co-operation with the local church;
a supportive Christian community for boys and young men to assist in their
* Christian growth
* Balanced personal development
* Leadership training; and
* to assist the Church reaching out into the community.

The BB Approach

Based on the twin pillars of Religion and Discipline, B.B. seeks to provide a meaningful and enjoyable program that balances the four areas of your life: educational, physical, social and spiritual. The B.B. aims at taking up all that enters into healthy life and dedicating it to God's service through a sound Christian lifestyle.

The Object

The advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys, and the promotion of habits  of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect, and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness.
This has been the Object of the Movement since 1893. The original Object did not include the word "Obedience.

The Logo & Motto
