BB Queensland has the largest BB population in Australia with over 1000 members in 40 companies or groups.

In 1913 1st Brisbane Company formed, led by a Mr. George Orr a former Lieutenant of the 1st Glasgow Company under the Captaincy of Sir William Smith.

• 4-Sep-2007: Our hosting provider will soon upgrade some of the website development software we are using to a new version. I've pre-tested the basic site functions using the new version and have made some preliminary adjustments. If you encounter any new problems over the next week to month, please let me know so that I can investigate and correct (Peter Wiseman).

What's News

• 24-Feb-2007 In addition to the Qld Web Editor role I took on the BBA Webmaster role earlier this year. Since the last redesign mid-2006 the new BBA website has been very stable, and I hope to keep it that way, making only minor improvements when they are identified. It's taken me quite a while (due to a limited time commitment) to adjust the design and some formatting problems of the Queensland pages following the change, but I think that's almost complete. Updating of content should follow soon.
