Please do not plan any events on the long weekend of 6-7 June. We want to support the Girls’ Brigade in their celebrations.
Queen’s Badge Day will be confirmed after discussions with Government House. We can say though that this function will not be held on a weekend, as it has been up to this year, and it will not be out in the grounds. Government House has indicated that they want the function to be on a week night (or evening) in the Investiture Room. More details on this after we have talked with Government House.

2009 Training |

| The BBQld Exec has discussed ways to improving access to training and ensuring events that are organised are well supported. From 2008 on, only one Trainee Officers Course will be scheduled (run in conjunction with BBQld Officer’s Conference). Battalions are encouraged to liaise with their member Companies and organise (in consultation with the BBQld Training Directorate) Battalion Trainee Officer Courses for their Trainee Officers. Structure (1 weekend v 4 nights v 2 Saturdays) timing and all other details can be worked out to suit the Officers in that particular Battalion. |
